Free Virtual Tutoring Program
The Virtual Tutoring/Homework Support Program works having trained volunteer tutors from diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds to help children on:

​

• Provide children with homework support

• Assist children with numeracy and literacy skills development. 

• Support children to develop good learning habits

 

Eligibility:

Students must be in Grade 1 to Grade 8.

Program eligibility is dependent on intake process.

 

How the program works:

TIEIA Youth matches families with volunteer tutors who meet online once a week

Sessions take place via Zoom

Sessions cover what the child is currently learning in school

 

Program Costs:

Virtual Tutoring/Homework Support Program is Free.
